Nexus Fashion Ltd. has established on its own 6 storied Tower having 50,000 sft of working area with elevator facility adorn with over 12 machines in different gauges and hiring more than 60 skilled employees for circular knitting division and also 500 different machines with 830 skilled manpower to keep operative the knit Garments Division

Quality Control

A personalized system of quality control, derived from the very good USA and EEC branded customers manual of quality control has been developed.  

  • In the primary stage, all raw yarn entering the plant is checked, evaluated and graded. Inspection are also carried out 100% check if required.  
  • In process quality assurance personnel visit each operator twice daily to perform statistical audit checks to evaluate the work of each operator. 100% inspection is also done in different stages of production and at the end of the line. Daily records are handed to the QC Manager. The Manager in turn complies the records and hands in a daily report to senior management.  
  • A special team of the inspectors called the 'final audit section' also works directly under the supervision of senior management and has the entire production area under their jurisdiction to perform random checks. They keep daily records and goods are only packed if they pass their scrutiny.  
  • At all points records are maintained of fabrics, garments quality and measurement checks.  
  • Entire quality system and make up of quality team can be found in the 'THE NEXUS QCS', Manual of the Nexus Quality Control System.

  • Strictly follow international and Bangladesh Government laws on labor and human resources. Minimum age requirements is 18 years i.e. there is no child labor.

As a responsible apparel producer, NSL provides employees a work environment high above the law-required level. NSL installed and has updated lighting, ventilation and ergonomics of its plants using latest technologies like bus bar for electrical fitting, overhead mirror reflectors for lamps, forced duct ventilation and so on. The goal is to exceed requirements of local legislation and reach the global standards, and thereby support clients’ images and sourcing principles. Clearly demarcated emergency routes & exits, smoke & fire detectors, consciously designed working lay-outs ensure a safe workplace for workers. As per Compliance requirements, instructions and warning signs are posted in highly visible places, inside the factory and in local language (Bangla). Moreover, usage of metal gloves in times of fabric cutti ng, needle guard in time of sewing and such similar procedures reduces significantly work-related accidents in Base. Besides being safe, NSL workplace offers a congenial & supporting environment for all: managerial staffs and workers work in mutual cooperation and respect. NSL consciously puts effort to empower woman not only by just recrui ng more women in workforce, rather by undertaking some assertive programs to train & promote women in the higher levels.

Besides paying a "living wage" which is substantial ally higher than the legal minimum, NSL supports its employees by setting up welfare facilities like medical center, day-care center, and canteen.
